Mandi Peck was a guest speaker in our High School Careers class this week. She shared about her career as a Surgical Technologist. She talked through what it's like to sterilely scrub into a case in the operating room and brought surgical instruments and other medical materials to show the students what she is responsible for during a medical procedure. The students enjoyed her presentation and loved getting to see the instruments!

All Hinton BETA Club new inductee letters have been handed out for all grade levels 4th-12th grade. The induction ceremonies for all grades are scheduled for this month.
8th thru 12th grade induction ceremony will be on Tuesday, October 8th @ 6:30pm in the Multipurpose building. This is for all 8th-12th BETA members. Students should check their Canvas class for announcements concerning the ceremony.
4th thru 7th grade induction ceremony will be on Thursday, October 24th @ 6:30pm in the Multipurpose building. This is for all 4th-7th BETA members. Students should check their Google Classroom for announcements concerning the ceremony.

☄️Hinton Elementary☄️This year we are presenting Happy Mail for Groovy Behavior. These are the students that were presented with their Happy Mail on Friday (9/27). They each received a coin to get something off of the Comet Cart.
☄️Hinton Elementary☄️We celebrated our students during Friday's (9/27) morning assembly! The Marvin Reader winner was Mrs. Tucker's class, IXL top class was Mrs. Smith's class with 78 math skills mastered this week and Top Reflex Math was Ms. McSparrin's class with 24 green lights.
Hazel House and Lucy Stiner were presented with a certificate for 100% Fluent for Addition and Subtraction on Reflex.
Austyn Hahn was presented with a certificate for 100% Fluent for Multiplication and Division on Reflex.
Lucy Stiner joined the 25 AR point club.
