☄️Hinton Elementary☄️It is Read Across America week! Mrs. Vowell kicked off the week on Monday with pajama day. Students names will be drawn this week if they make a 100% on an AR test that they read. They can also turn in their estimations of how many items are in the buckets in estimation station.
We want to give a big shoutout to HS Vocal! They came home from the OSSAA District Solo and Ensemble Contest yesterday with 3 Superior ratings and 3 Excellent ratings. Congrats to our students and Mrs. Hughes on all of your hard work!

☄️Hinton Elementary☄️We celebrated our students during Friday's (3/1) morning assembly! Brynn Wright joined the 25 AR points club. Sadie Brookshire, Nora Sweany, Ainsley Eminger, Kaitlyn Fasnacht, Braxton Homier, Walker Maxwell, Logan Nichols, Autumn Parker, Kimberlee Schimmel, Pystal Stevens, Tinzlee Thornton, Aria Tripp, Rhett Wright, Laya Woodring joined the 50 AR points club. The Marvin Reader winner was Mrs. Nolen's class, IXL top class was Mrs. Ingram's class and Top Reflex Math was Mrs. King's class. Congratulations to these students and teachers!
☄️Hinton Elementary☄️We will be drawing one teacher and one para/aide's name each week. They will receive a duty free lunch. This week Mrs. Arrington and Ms. McSparrin were the lucky winners. Congratulations ladies!!
☄️Hinton Elementary☄️Our Comet Coupon winners for Friday, February 23 and March 1. Students can earn a comet coupon by remembering the word RULE. R stands for respecting others, U stands for using kind word/actions, L stands for learning by taking risks and E stands for engaging in safe activities. Students earned a Comet Coin to use at the Comet Cart on Friday.
