Our 1st grade students have been studying the difference in polar bears and grizzly bears! They have done some great research and amazing art!! We love that our teachers make learning FUN!!!

Hinton Middle School 5th grade students completed a unit on Energy in Mrs. Brack's Science class.
Hinton Middle School 6th grade art students started this semester with a unit on using line and value.
Hinton Middle School 6th and 7th grade students completed their novel studies of the Holocaust with a lesson from the National Holocaust Museum for Remembrance Day. Students were assigned individual identification cards where they learned about the person’s life before, during, and after this dark time in history. They also made butterflies to honor those who endured.
Hinton Elementary students participated in a poster contest sponsored by AFR. They worked so hard and we had some winners!!!
Bode Smith and Everly Parnell were among the top 100 out of thousands of entries!! Laya Woodring was in the top 5 and will be recognized at the AFR banquet! Great job everyone!! 🎉
In recognition of President's Day, Hinton Schools will not have school Monday, February 20th.

~Hinton Elementary~ We had Grandma Blair tell the morning joke this morning. We celebrated 100 days of school by dressing as 100 year olds!
Our new school mascot, Captain Comet, came to celebrate our Rockin' Reader winners! The kids loved him!
