Today marks a first for Hinton High School with the first Esports class taking place. The class will be competing amongst other schools this spring in the Oklahoma Scholastic Esports League. We are excited for Mr. Wimmer and his students! #CometNation

Hinton Elementary RED RIBBON WEEK 2022! We have some exciting things planned for Red Ribbon Week this year! October 24th-October 28th. We learn about how to keep our surroundings safe and our bodies healthy! We may even have a visit from our favorite drug dog! Wednesday 10/26- "Wake Up Drug Free" Wear your favorite pajamas to school! Thursday 10/27- "Crazy Sock Day" Wear a pair, donate a pair! For our annual holiday sock drive! Friday 10/28- "Say BOO to Drugs" Wear your favorite book character costume!

Hinton FFA Chapter was well represented at the Anadarko Regional Contest yesterday! The 8th Grade Creed Speaking Team placed 2nd, the State Qualifying Opening and Closing Ceremonies Team placed 3rd, and the Greenhand Quiz Team placed 2nd. Three members made Top 10 and competed in a knockout round where Kason Proffitt tied for 5th, Emma Catlin place 7th, and Tommy Davis placed 9th. Congratulations to Mr. Sam and Hinton FFA!

The Hinton Community Fall Blood Drive sponsored by Hinton BETA is Wednesday, October 19th from 9am-2pm. The bloodmobile will be set up in front of the high school. You can schedule an appointment through obi.org or just show up, but appointments are preferred. More activities and labs that the Middle School students participated in. 7th grade Language Arts completed one pagers project for the book 90 miles to Havana. 6th and 7th grade Science created a big fingerprint with their all about fingerprints lab. 7th grade STEM created bouncy balls in a lab. 6th grade Science students participated in a bacteria swab lab.
