☄️Hinton Elementary☄️ We will be sending home car line signs for each family tomorrow. Please start displaying these signs when you come through the car line on Wednesday. I have attached an example of the signs. This will help us learn your car faster and speed up the car line. If you need more signs, email Ms. Mahan at jordan.mahan@hintonschools.org. Thank you for your patience as we work through these changes.
HINTON FAIR PARADE AND GAMES
It’s Hinton Fair Parade Time!
August 22nd
Hinton Elementary School will be hosting the Annual Hinton Fair Parade on Friday, Aug 22nd at 4:00. Hinton CDO and Hinton Elementary students are invited to participate in the fun. Parade participants will gather at Market Square at 3:45 to get in order with their appropriate age/grade level group.
Students will parade down Main Street to the stoplight/corner of Legacy Bank. There, judges will award free ride fair tickets to the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place winners of each group. Dress up, get creative, & let’s have some fun!
No live animals or motorized vehicles are allowed for safety purposes.
Children’s Fair Games will follow (approximately 4:45)at the Kiwanis Rodeo parking area north of the fairgrounds as soon as the parade concludes.
Games: Bike Races, Turtle Races, Leapfrog, Sack Races
We love fair time!

Important Announcement:
The elementary car line is now in front of the elementary on Marion. The car line is to form on Marion ONLY. No one should be turning off of Park Street onto Marion. Please see attached map for details.
Hinton Teachers and staff were treated to some delicious food and fun door prizes this week during our annual inservice meetings. The support and love showed to us is very much appreciated. ☄️
